DROWNING IS SILENT ist ein audiovisuelles Projekt, das von Künstler Xaver Heinz Franz Scheuer (alias Woody Woodstock) und Regisseur Alexander Knauer initiiert wurde – in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Team von 70 kreativen Köpfen aus der ganzen Welt und gemeinsam mit #LeaveNoOneBehind.
DROWNING IS SILENT will medialen, popkulturellen und monetären Erfolg zu Gunsten der zivilen Seenotrettung erzielen und den politischen Diskurs wieder in Richtung Menschenwürde lenken. Dieses Projekt ist ausschließlich durch öffentliche Fördergelder und private Spenden sowie die ehrenamtliche Hingabe aller Beteiligten entstanden.
DROWNING IS SILENT ist ein reines Solidaritätsprojekt – sämtliche Einnahmen, die durch das Video, den Song oder Merchandise-Verkäufe erwirtschaftet werden, werden vollständig gespendet.
